Dollar bill- Display of Freedon for Freedom Ice Cream July 4, 1999
This dollar bill was wrapped around a firecracker. This action was a display of freedom for Freedom Ice Cream, which was the first event at 667 Shotwell.
Small rocks are collected from the sites of various pop music concerts... articles are clipped from the paper or other materials indicating the events date and locale...the "billboard 100" is printed on (or around) the date of the concert.
This is an ongoing project that takes advantage of the obvious pun while attempting to reduce these often monstrous events into something just as available (rocks) with little value.

in stasis (parts 1 & 2:in & stasis- an impulsive electronic sound is manipulated to form a static sine wave at approx. 110 Hz or the second audible octave of the note A. When the note is reached and permeates the room, variations of pitch can be heard with movement. This is due in part to the acoustic properties of space and the natural additive properties of wave functions.
